This is a Selmer Paris Series III alto saxophone in gold lacquer finish, serial number 666822. The body of the alto is in pristine physical condition. There is some play wear around the body but nothing serious. It has never seen any major repair. All of the key work as well as the guards and guard feet are in excellent original condition and have never had any solder repair.

The Selmer SIII alto is a regular top shelf choice for some of the best modern professionals. They are especially desired by classical players for their deeply focused core sound. The amazing control and flexibility of these horns also make them highly desired by a large number of jazz and studio players.

This particular alto arrived to us in excellent condition playing nicely on its current set of premium leather pads and metal domed resonators. All of the pads are still in great shape and have a tone of life left in them. In order to ensure the sax goes out in perfect playing condition it is currently in line to receive a pro set-up in our shop. The set-up includes a dissemble, cleaning and fresh regulation with the replacement of any needed key materials.
