Selmer Paris Mark VI - 1964
This is a Selmer Paris Mark VI soprano saxophone in original silver plate, serial number 121361. It was manufactured in 1964 and is in beautiful condition. This is a very smooth player. It has an ultra fast intake of air and responds with a very crisp brilliant sonic character.

The body of the soprano is in very good condition showing off the original silver plate finish. There is some honest play wear along the horn, mostly just the typical light scratches here and there from past play time. The saxophone has never seen any serious dent work in the past. There has never been any solder repairs to any of the posts. It has no solder repairs but there was a neck strap ring soldered onto the horn near the lyre mount. The upper body tube and neck venture are in great shape as is the body tube and tone holes. Its bell flare is in good condition and has never been damaged. There are a few light dings around the flare, but nothing too serious.

This saxophone came in playing on a slightly older set-up from another shop with leather pads and brown nylon resonators. It is due for some general set-up work so it is currently in line to be worked on in our shop. The set-up will include a complete dissemble and cleaning followed by a fine regulation of the key work. During the set-up we will also replace any needed key materials.

This soprano is an exceptional free blowing player with a gorgeous sound! It ships out in perfect playing condition with our professional set-up and a non original case.
