HELP, I Want One!

This is a very cool and interesting vintage Cornet. Reynolds Contempora cornet, serial #28558. The previous owner of it had some custom work done by the late great brass tech Steve Williams of the Saint Louis area. The bell was bent and re-shape to the “Dizzy” angle and Steve added a hand made brass to it for additional support. It has also had a custom Pilczuck Accusonic lead pipe added to it, A458.
The Contempora was manufactured around 1950 in Cleveland Oh. It features nickel silver vlave slides and slide casings. The cornet also features a reinforcing nickel silver tone ring around the bell flare. This particular cornet is a large bore model.
The instrument is in very good condition. All of the valve casings are also in good shape and have never had any previous repairs. The bell and bell flare are also in great shape. This instrument ships in perfect playing condition with a service from the Saxquest shop. Because of the unique shape of the instrument it does not include a case.
