Excellent condition Yamaha YCL-72ACS clarinet in A, serial number 001046. This was Yamaha's top-of-the-line professional clarinet in the late 1980s. This example has been well cared for. It was just freshly serviced in our shop and is an excellent player. The work showcases all new corks and felts as well as a new set of Valentino Master pads.
The grenadilla wood body shows no cracks or previous crack repairs. The silver plated keywork shows no discernible finish wear and is all in excellent shape. Original bell and barrel (stamped simply “A” on the back, and measuring 66mm) are included.
This clarinet plays with a sweet, very warm sound, and excellent response. It takes your air comfortably and responds fast, with a deep, full tone. Our overhaul included all new pads and material, and a precise regulation, so that you can rest assured that it will be playing great for a long time to come. Ships in its original double case, with room for your Bb.
