P. Mauriat 301GL - Low A and High F#
This is an excellent player! P. Mauriat PMB-30 GL low A baritone sax in gold lacquer finish, serial number PM0350518. The bari has been played on a few times in our shop and at a couple trade shows. It has never been owned or extensively played on. Because of this we are able to offer it at a premium price point. It does include the P. Mauriat manufactures warranty, 1 year Saxquest set-up service warranty and wheeled hard case. If you are looking to pick a top notch pro baritone up this is a great way to do it while saving some money.

Physically the baritone is in extremely nice shape. The body tube, bow, bow cap upper J and U tube are all in outstanding condition. There might be a hard to see scratch here or there nothing too serious. The one point of mention is there is very small wear spot along the outside of the bell flare (picture ). It is very hard to see and does not show up in the photo great. Because of these small cosmetic imperfections we are able to sell this saxophone at a drastically reduced price.

We have spent a lot of time playing these instruments, and have come to the conclusion that you just can't get a better sax for the money. We played them side by side with many saxes in the shop, including vintage Mark VI's, and came away impressed with their projection, richness of sound, and overall character of tone. Intonation is excellent, and they play with a very warm full sound. The bari has a dark full sound, and really projects in the low end!

Every P. Mauriat sax we sell does come with our full set up, which includes a complete regulation and adjustment. We thoroughly play-test every instrument after the set up, to insure they are playing at the height of their capabilities.
