This is a used Otto Link “Vintage Series” hard rubber 8 mouthpiece for tenor saxophone in an 8 facing. It shows a few light scratches around the body and on the beak from past use. It does not have any major wear to note. The facing profile is in good shape and does not show any signs it has been worked on in the past. Its tip opening measures .110”.
These pieces were first released a little over 10 years ago by Otto Link. They are made with a open throat, rounded inner side walls and slightly more baffle in comparison to the standard Tone Edge. This particular piece plays with a smooth response while featuring a warm, complex sonic character. An excellent piece for the versatile and balanced playing mouthpiece.
