Cool vintage Wolfe Tayne metal mouthpiece for the tenor sax. Wolfe Tannenbaum made a whole lot of mouthpieces very several companies, including these, with his own name on them, and he later started BARI which is still going strong. This piece is a slim body, thin profile mouthpiece, showing moderate finish wear around its body and on the table, as seen in the photos. There’s a single indent/groove in the original black bite plate. Despite being a slim mouthpiece, it isn’t a super bright player, and has a lot of color in its tone. The piece is stamped a 10 but doesn’t measure quite that big, more like a modern 8* at .115”. The facing is original and in excellent shape.
