Original Facing Buescher True Tone TRU-LAY Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece

This is an old vintage Buescher True Tone Tru-Lay mouthpiece for the alto sax. Dating back most likely to the 1920s or early 1930s, this mouthpiece is in remarkable condition despite being close to 100 years old. There is virtually no physical wear of note, and that includes no deep scratches and no teeth indentations in the beak. The factory gold stamping remains crisp on both the body and table, with little fading. The facing is all original, with tip measuring .050”, on the smaller side as was the custom when this mouthpiece was manufactured. A cool find for collectors, or if you have an old True Tone and looking to find a matching mouthpiece.
