Bob Carpenter Refaced
This is a New York vintage metal Otto Link “Master Link” model mouthpiece for the alto sax, serial number D24. Originally a 4, this piece was later opened by Bob Carpenter, measuring now as a modern 7 at .080”. The work on the tip and rails is clean, and Bob left a slightly more defined rollover baffle than what you typically find on these old NY Links. The piece is in great physical condition, and comes with an original Link ligature, as seen in the photos.
