This is a New York USA vintage hard rubber Meyer mouthpiece for the tenor sax. The piece is stamped a 7S (short facing) with medium chamber, but has bee opened at some point in its life and now measures .107”, more comparable to a modern Meyer 10 or Otto Link 7*. As seen in the photos, the pieces shows a fair amount of oxidation that has come with time, evidence of the quality hard rubber construction, but there are no cracks or chips to the body or facing, and the tip and rails look great.
