This is a new Chateau series soprano sax, model number CSS-80L. This is a straight model soprano, featuring keywork to high G and beautiful hand engraving that extends up the body of the instrument.
This is a very nice pro series soprano. It is made from a red brass alloy, featuring a high copper content (85%). It is a two piece design, with detachable straight and curved necks, and pro style keywork. It feels very comfortable under your fingers with a lively and precise action. This is a new instrument, it comes with our full custom pro setup, and ships in a case with mouthpiece and accessories.
You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer playing soprano in this price range. It takes your air evenly and plays with an edgy, slightly brighter tone. Projection is great, and this horn hits hard. A whole lot of soprano for the price.
