This is a pristine, near-mint condition pro model Yanagisawa TWO1 tenor sax, serial number 00384645. These are phenomenal players, and versatile for any setting you find yourself in. This tenor is in tremendous shape and a great opportunity to pick up a like-new TWO1 at a substantial savings.

This tenor looks just about perfect with 99.9% gold lacquer intact. Upon cursory examination I found no wear of note, and only a couple light surface scratches if you look very closely. No dents, dings, or damages anywhere. Pads are still in like-new condition with no wear on them, and the sax will get a fresh pro set up from our repair shop before shipping, so you can rest assured that it will arrive to you in perfect playing shape.

The main physical difference between the TWO1 and Yani's top-of-the-line TWO10 is the addition of minirib construction on the TWO10. This added weight warms up the sound of the TWO10 and makes it darker overall. Without the minirubs, this TWO1 plays bolder and, I feel, more resonant, allowing for more opportunities in a jazz or rock setting. This tenor really takes your air quickly, and while it still has an overall warm sound, you can really brighten it up with the right mouthpiece, and projection is outstanding. Ships in its original case as pictured, which is also in immaculate shape.
