Clean original Trevor James Signature RAW alto saxophone, serial number T9402. This is a true unlacquered instrument, featuring a raw brass body and keys. This alto holds its own with anything in this price bracket (and quite a few more expensive models!) and is a great option for students and pros alike.

This alto is immaculate with no dents, dings, or major scratches. Being an unlacquered instrument, it can show cosmetic scuffs and scrapes more easily than a lacquered horn, but there's virtually no wear to speak of. It features beautiful hand engraving on the bell and small accoutrements that really speak of quality: the name stamped on the clothes guard, initials on the octave thumbrest, and even stamping along the curve of the neck. Little things like that give the sax a premium look.

These horns come great from the factory, and this horn is playing up a storm. Rather than do a full set up and raise the price, we are selling it on the factory adjustment at a lower price. Great deal for players looking for the lowest price possible.

This alto plays with a warm and focused sound, with an easy, open response and strong core. Has a very “vintage Selmer”-esque quality to it. Fun horn to play, and a great jazz alto. Goes out in its original shaped case, which is also in new condition.
