Here we have a beautiful, lightly used, Haynes Q1 flute in silver plate with an off-set G, Split E, C# trill, sterling head joint, B-foot joint, serial number #6979.

The Q1 is currently Haynes pro-line flute, it has a sterling silver head joint featuring a nice squared hole in the mouth plate with meticulous shaping for enhanced tone and feel. This flute has a rich, full sound from pianissimo to fortissimo across all registers. The upper register plays with ease and clarity thanks to the split E key.

This flute comes with some extra features that can be hard to find in horns built for student and intermediate level players. The split E, an off set G, extended low range with a B-foot joint, a trill C# next to the trill Bb key, and a gizmo key which allows for better ease of play in the high register.

This one is in fantastic condition with hardly a scratch on it, the Straubinger pads are holding up well and don't look to be used too much before arriving at Saxquest. It will be checked out by our top flute tech before leaving our shop. It will ship with its original Haynes hard case with blue interior, and a soft faux-leather case cover which holds the cleaning rod.
