Leblanc Legacy A Clarinet

This is a very nice Leblanc Legacy A clarinet, serial number 1545. The clarinet is in beautiful condition. It was recently fully serviced and set up in our shop and ships out in perfect playing condition.

The Leblanc Legacy was manufactured by Leblanc in collaboration with Morrie Backun, who designed the key work. The Legacy is considered to be a flagship professional instrument for Leblanc. These clarinets were made from aged grenadilla with undercut tone holes, silver key work, adjustable thumb rest, left hand C#/G# and a number of fine adjustment screws.

The Leblanc Legacy plays with a beatifully focused sound very akin to the Leblanc Opus while featuring improvements made by Morrie Backun. This paritcular clarinet is a fantastic player featuring an excetional balance across registers.

This Leblanc is in amazing condition. There is no history of major past repair to this clarinet. It has no history of past cracks or crack repair. The clarinet includes a Backun ringless grenadilla bell and 65mm barrel. These are also in outstanding physical condition. This clarinet was recently serviced in our shop and is in perfect playing condition. The work included a dissemble and cleaning followed by precise regulation of the key work and replacement of any needed key materials.
