New York USA vintage hard rubber Meyer mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This piece is stamped a 6S (short facing curve) with medium chamber, and measures .085”. The facing does appear to be all original and untouched. Honestly most of this mouthpiece gives the appearance of having sat in a case for the last couple decades. It shows no heavy playing wear to speak of, and even much of the factory gold stamping remains crisp with little fading. This piece plays with a good response with a medium-hard to hard reed, and the shorter facing length helps the altissimo pop.
