This is a fantastic deal on a Yanagisawa TWO10 professional tenor sax, serial number 00365946. If you've been on the hunt for a top shelf pro level tenor at a great price, this tenor will do the trick and it is a fun tenor to play.

The TWO10 is Yani's top-of-the-line model, featuring mini-rib construction under the posts and an underslung octave key on the neck. This example is in exquisite condition. There is only very light lacquer wear to speak of, mostly a few cosmetic scratches and some light wear on a couple touch points, and the original lacquer is still 98% intact. There are no major dents and no previous repairs. The neck is flawless, having never been pulled down or damaged.

As you can see in the photos, the sax was well played before coming to us and is pretty dirty in the between the keys, but it will be completely disassembled and cleaned in our repair shop before shipping. We'll clean it inside and out, replacing all key adjustment material as well as any pads that are starting to age. Finally, we'll adjust key heights and spring tensions back to factory specs and make sure it is playing like new. All work to get the sax perfect is included in the price.

The TWO10 is a sweet, dark playing instrument, with a very lush and warm tone. It takes your air comfortably with little resistance, and responds instantly to your air stream. Intonation is superb, and the strong foundational core allows for effortless altissimo. A great horn for the classical/concert band setting, but can certainly do jazz or rock too with the right mouthpiece. Ships in its original case.
