This is a freshly repadded Selmer AS300 series student model alto sax, serial number 1355554. If you or your kids are just starting out on sax, you can't go wrong with this little guy. It has all new pads and material, freshly adjusted top to bottom, so you have assurance that it will come to you in perfect playing shape and will last a long while.

All of the wear on this sax is cosmetic. There's some minor lacquer (finish) wear here and there with some scratching and whatnot, but no serious past trauma or repair. There's been some minor dent work in the bell, all handled well, and a few shallow dings in the bottom bow, but nothing that affects play. One replaced pearl in the upper stack, as seen in the photos. The action feels lively and fluid under your fingers, with nothing clunky or uneven. Everything is tight and crisp, and it feels like a new horn.

Don't grab a cheap no-name brand or an old $100 sax that needs a full restoration. This horn has been rebuilt top to bottom and is ready to go. Ships in a protective hard case.
