This is a lightly used Fred Rast “Contemporary Model” metal mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. The Contemporary model has a wide open inner throat leading into a scooped baffle with a high floor. This is the brighter of Rast mouthpieces.
The piece is physically in excellent condition only showing minimal cosmetic play wear. Its profile around the table, tip and side rails is excellent. This mouthpiece ships with the original ligature slide, it is not with the cap.
The tip opening on this mouthpiece is .106”.
