This is a very early vintage Selmer Paris Airflow series mouthpiece for the alto sax. There were a few varieties of the Airflow over the years, but this is the first one that was introduced in the mid 1920s. It features a gold “medal” like logo on its body, and is stamped with the facing “table C*” on the table. This mouthpiece is all original, with tip measuring .063”. Despite its age, this mouthpiece is in stellar condition, with only light playing wear to show for its age. No cracks, nicks, or major scratches anywhere, and the beak has always been protected by patches. This is a neat piece for collectors, from the very early days of the Selmer Paris saxophone production.
