This is an early Florida vintage Otto Link metal tenor sax mouthpiece with serial number D875. This “no USA” was originally stamped an 8, and was later opened by Erik Drake to an 8*, measuring now .117”. This piece also once had a mic pick up which has been removed and sealed with a flush plug, as seen in the photos. The work was all done very well. This mouthpiece shows moderate finish wear on the shank and table, but physically no cracks or major dings to the metal. The work on the tip and rails looks great. A nice piece if you prefer a larger tip opening, and plays well with a softer reed.
