This is a Drake New York Jazz 6 for alto saxophone. The piece is in outstanding condition. It has been used in the past but does not have any major wear to note. Its facing profile is in great shape as well. This piece includes an original Drake cap and ligature set. These New York model are made by Aaron Drake to emulate the sound of the classic New York Meyer pieces. These pieces are constructed with a subtle baffle shape and steady floor slope leading to a medium chamber. The response to air flow on these pieces is ultra smooth and easy to control.
The tip opening of this piece measures .076”.
