A Strong Bass Mouthpiece
This Clark W Fobes Nova bass clarinet mouthpiece is made of hard rubber and measures .067"/1.70mm. The body shows pretty heavy oxidization and some light scratching on the body and beak.
With a wide tip, squared sidewalls, and BIG chamber, this mouthpiece plays with a thick, dark, fat sound that projects strongly. High dynamic ranges are possible without going too bright or buzzy. This mouthpiece would be great for the saxophonist doubler that wants a mouthpiece that blows more like a sax or for the bass clarinetist in need of easier projection.
