This is a gorgeous Keilwerth SX90R soprano saxophone in gold lacquer, serial number 106821. The soprano was manufactured in the early to mid 1990's and is physically in immaculate condition. There is some normal play wear here and there but nothing too major. It has never had any repairs, no body work and zero re-solders. All of the original key pearls are also in great shape and still feel new under the fingers. The body tube, neck and receiver area and bell flare are all in exceptional condition. The Keilwerth SX90 is a one piece soprano with straight tone holes and key work up to a high F#.

The Keilwerth SX90 has an impressive free blowing response and is one of the most robust sopranos available. These are ideal horns for players looking to put a lot of air through a horn while creating a massive and powerful sound. This one in particular came into our shop playing extremely well on its original pads. At this time the pads are all clean and sealing good. As the pads are starting to get up there in age it is ultimately going to need a re-pad in the not too distant future, if you plan on putting a lot of serious play time on it. Because it is playing up a storm now on the original factory pads and set up we are selling it in as is condition.
