This a 1920’s vintage Selmer Paris Airflow series mouthpiece for the alto sax. It is all original, stamped “table B” on the table, with tip measuring .058”. The piece has its original metal shank ring in place, all in good shape. There’s some scuffing and playing wear around the beak, but no indentations, and no major chips or nicks in the tip or rails. The piece features a large round chamber, no real baffle to speak of, and thus plays with a definitive darker tone, as was the style when this model was in production. With its smaller opening, it plays best with a harder reed.
