HELP, I Want One!

This is a 1970 vintage Conn tenor saxophone, serial number N198745. Often called the “shooting star” model because of the engraving on the bell, these horns were made after Conn's heyday, but they are still solid entry level horns for players on a budget. This tenor has just been restored and is ready to go for its next owner.

This Conn tenor is still in original lacquer, which shows little wear despite its age. The original lacquer is a solid 95% intact, with only light finish wear in a few spots, as seen in the photos. It has had some minor past dent work in the bottom bow and bell flare (a previous small bend right on the front of the bell lip in one spot), and some minor dings removed from the neck. All minor stuff, and no serious past damage or repair, and that includes no resolders.

This tenor was just repadded and adjusted, and is in perfect playing shape. If you are looking for bargain on a dependable tenor, as either a first horn or a back-up, this is the way to go. Ships in its original hard case.
