1920s Vintage Selmer Paris Airflow Series Alto Sax Mouthpiece

This is a very old (1920s) vintage Selmer Paris mouthpiece for the alto sax. This is an early version of the Selmer Airflow series, featuring a single metal ring around the shank, with a “stubby” fat body and large round chamber. It doesn’t have a facing stamped on it anywhere, but measures .062”, slim as was the norm when these pieces were in production. There’s some very minor surface scratching on the beak, but no deep teeth wear, and the original tip and rails are in tremendous shape despite its age. Very dark, warm sounding piece. If you have an old Selmer Model 22 or 26 and want a period-matching mouthpiece, this is a great fit.
