Product ID: SoloistCSLSAltoMS
70s vintage Selmer Soloist alto sax mouthpiece. This Selmer Paris hard rubber mouthpiece features the same iconic scroll pattern on the shank and horseshoe shaped chamber as the “short shank” Soloists that came before it, but it does have less baffle and overall plays with a darker sound. It is table stamped a C* and is all original, with tip measuring .069”. As you can see in the photos, the body of this piece has oxidized with age, everywhere except for where its ligature sat for many years. Though it has a darker brown color than normal, it is physically very nice, with no major wear of note. The factory gold stamping has not faded much, and there are no nicks or chips to the original tip and rails.
