Nice 50's vintage Selmer Paris Soloist series mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This is one of the earlier “short shank” models, featuring a horseshoe shaped chamber and a tight rollover baffle just behind the tip. The mouthpiece appears to be original and measures .070”. The piece shows some teeth marks and light wear on the beak, but no serious indentations, and the body of the mouthpiece has only light oxidation around the shank for its age. Even much of the original gold factory stamping remains crisp with little fading.
