Buffet Crampon Vintage 'S Series' S1 Alto Sax, Serial #24330 – Fully Overhauled

This is a fabulous original lacquer Buffet S1 alto saxophone, serial number 24330. The sax is in outstanding condition and was recently overhauled by Josh Creekmore in the Saxquest shop. The S1 showcases comfortable and highly unique key work. Its left hand table keys feature and roller-less construction. The left hand table keys have a low Bb pivot tuch which makes the movement around the bell keys ultra seamless. This saxophone was made with out the high F# key. 

 

The body of the sax is in great physical condition showing a normal amount of cosmetic play wear from past use. Its body tube, bow, bow cap and bell are all in good shape as well. This saxophone includes the original neck. The neck has some history of light repair in the past but the work was done very well and is currently at its true angle and perfect working order. 

 

This saxophone was recently mechanically overhauled in the Saxquest shop and is in perfect playing condition. The alto is showing off all new cork and felt materials with a set of premium leather pro pads and S80 style gold plated resonators. The gold plated resonators are further complemented by the set of gold plated springs on the sax. 

 

This alto ships out in perfect playing condition with a fresh Saxquest overhaul and a new Protec Max case.
