| Trade preference | I am looking for a nice classical piece for my tenor...maybe an old Soloist E or something along those lines. Cash is also nice. |

| Item Description | I found this mouthpiece in an old and very interesting Evette and Schaefer Apogee System C Melody saxophone from 1911 and believe that it is possibly the original piece for that horn. Contact me for pics by email.
It is in excelent condition and is without a flaw. The table is even and perfect as is the tip and body of the piece. There is a metal ring around the shank and the Selmer stamp on the barrel. Otherwise, there are no markings or indications on it. I would guess that the opening is similar to a C* and the chamber is wide open and round.
This mouthpiece and the horn that it came from (also available) both represent a huge piece of saxophone history. They both would make a fine addition to any collection. Contact me for pics and any questions.
Please take a look at the horn as well. It is an Apogee System horn that has extra keys and alternate fingerings...VERY COOL!!!! |
