| Item Description | This is a very nice vintage Julius Keilwerth KING Model 3, serial number: 5737 (!!!) produced in 1935 in Graslitz (former Czechoslovakia).
The sax looks incredible. The sax has been extremely well cared for over the years.
There are no dents or past damages or repaired dents.
Physically, the sax is in perfect condition. The original silver plating is 90% intact. The original neck is also nearly perfect - it has just a couple light scratches near the cork. And cork is light poor.
This horn is still in all the original pads, which are still in very good condition.
The bell flare is also perfect. Simply a magnificant instrument.
The sax is in the original case, also in pristine quality.
Its extremely free blowing and fun to play. This sax plays with a very warm and full tone. Very nice in excellent condition. |
