This is a good 70s vintage Selmer Paris “scroll shank” mouthpiece for the alto sax. These pieces are similar to the earlier vintage Soloist, with the same scroll pattern on the shank and same horseshoe-shaped chamber. It does have less of a rollover baffle, making it darker and more “rounder” sounding. This mouthpiece shows only light surface scratching around its body and on the beak, but no cracks, nicks, or major wear. The facing is original, and the tip measures .066”.
