This is a good vintage hard rubber Otto Link Tone Edge mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This piece dates back to the early days at the Babbitt factory, and while not a true “Early Babbitt” mouthpiece, it is a quality piece, with a good custom refacing. The piece has been professionally opened to a “7**”, measuring now .107”. The work on the tip and rails is clean and looks great, and custom baffle work inside also has created a nicely shaped rollover. Physically the mouthpiece shows only light ligature scratching on top of its body, as seen in the photos, with no other wear of note. A good playing piece with a nice edge.
