This is a cool old Selmer Elkhart-New York hard rubber mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This piece is completely original, with tip measuring about .078”. This piece features a small baffle just behind the tip, heading back to a large round chamber. As such it plays with a darker sound for sure, but still has an open feel to it. A quality vintage hard rubber piece, in pristine condition. If you like these more open, there is plenty of room to get it opened later on too.
