This is a classic hard rubber Bilger mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This piece is stamped a 5* but measures closer to a 7, with tip at .103”. The facing certainly looks original, but it may have been altered slightly in the past. The piece has a nice rollover-like baffle just behind the tip which helps projection and gives you a bit of buzz. The mouthpiece shows some light surface wear but no cracks or chips, no serious past damage. The hard rubber content has oxidized a bit with time to a darker brown color. A good streamline mouthpiece.
