HELP, I Want One!

Eastman 52nd Street Soprano Straight Neck
This is a nice and very lightly played Andres Eastman 52 Street soprano saxophone, serial number 11531311.

The 52nd Street model has a rich free blowing response and warm sound across all registers. Its excellent response and ultra resonant character allow for outstanding flexibility regarding projection and steady pitch. The construction of the 52nd Street soprano does feature a high F#, tear drop front F, blue steel springs and metal resonators. The bottom 5 tone holes of the soprano are rounded while the upper body is all straight tone holes.

This particular 52nd street is a very nice player. It performs with a full resonating sound which is warm but should not be considered overly dark. The unlacquered finish on the sax allows it to breath very freely as it takes the air in.  The body of the soprano is in outstanding physical condition and has never seen any repair. It does show typical cosmetic play wear for a raw brass instrument and is starting to get the classic raw brass patina.

This soprano is currently being set up in the Saxquest shop and ships in perfect playing condition with the original Eastman soprano case. Eastman is making some outstanding professional instruments and this on in particular can be had at a great price!
