HELP, I Want One!

Factory Original 99% Silver Plate

This is an outstanding condition, all original silver plated C.G. Conn F Mezzo, serial number 213725. This horn was made during the Chu era of Conn and features similar keywork to the altos and tenors of this line, such as rolled tone holes and the fingernail file G#.

The F Mezzo, essentially a smaller alto in the key of F, is sort of the forgotten member of the saxophone family. Never as popular as the C tenor, not many were made, making them somewhat rare today. This one needs a pad job, but it has been polished up to shine like new and is in pristine original condition. The original silver finish is 99%+ intact with no real wear of note. The gold wash inside the bell is perfect. There are no dents or dings, no previous damages or repairs.

With our shop currently backed up for months, we’ve decided to initially offer this instrument as-is on the older pads, with the option to add a pad job. If you choose it, we’ll overhaul it with premium firm leather pads and top shelf material, and give it our custom regulation. If you want to take it as-is and have your preferred tech do the work, you can save quite a bit.

This is truly a unique find, and it is priced to go quickly! It does ship in its original case.
