This is a classic 50's vintage Selmer Paris Soloist series mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This is one of the earlier “short shank” models, with the horseshoe chamber. It is stamped a C* and is all original, measuring about .067”. The piece has a nice small rollover baffle, and is a great candidate for refacing if you wanted to have it opened. Physically it is in phenomenal shape, showing only very minor cosmetic scuffing and no major wear. Tip, rails, table, and beak all look great.
