This is a classic early New York vintage Meyer Bros mouthpiece for the alto sax. This piece is complete original, you just don't see them like this very often. It is stamped a 5M with small chamber, giving the player a slightly edgier tone, and the original facing measures true at .070”. The mouthpiece shows no wear to the tip or rails, no teeth indentations in the beak. There is one tiny nick on the beak all the way over the left side, so small it is hardly worth mentioning. A fantastic vintage piece for the player and collector alike.
