This is a New York vintage hard rubber Meyer mouthpiece for the alto sax. This piece is stamped as New York USA on the shank. It is a 7M medium chamber, and while it does appear to have had minor work in the past, it measures true at .080”. Most likely, the only work done was to flatten the table and check the facing curve, as the piece still has a very factory-like look to it. The mouthpiece shows light oxidation for its age, purely cosmetic, and just a few minor ligature scratches around its body. There are no teeth marks or wear on the beak, and the tip and rails look great. The piece does come in its original box.
