The Yamaha YOB-441 series of oboe is an intermediate level instrument, made for the advancing player. This is a modified conservatory system oboe, with silver plated nickel-silver keywork. It features a left-hand F, fork F resonance key, and low Bb. Available in 3 versions :
- YOB-441 – grenadilla wood body and bell
- YOB-441M – the Duet version, has a grenadilla body and bell, with the upper joint injection-molded inner bore to help prevent cracking
- YOB-441A – ABS resin body and bell for durability
