The new Yamaha YCL-450 intermediate level clarinet is designed to make the step up from the beginner model smooth and enjoyable. It features a bell shape and barrel design similar to the professional V series, and offers a suprisingly "professional" sound with an easy response. The new bell design gives improved intonation and projection, especially in the all-important lower register, with the new barrel enhanches the 450's response, flexibility, and tonal focus. Available with silver plated keys (YCL-450) or nickel plated keys (YCL-450N).

 

The YCL-450NM features the Duet+ technology, adding durability to this clarinet. It has an ABS resin injected-molded upper joint inner bore, which significantly diminishes the likelihood of cracking. Comes with nickel plated keywork.
