Saxquest is proud to be a hosting venue for this year's Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl. The Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl will feature nine different bands at nine different venues up and down Cherokee Street stretching between the 2100 to the 2800 blocks on Staurday from noon to 4PM.
Saxquest is trilled to present our very own ensemble. The Saxquest Nine Piece Jazz Orchestra is a little big band consisting of three saxes, two trumpets, trombone, piano, bass and drums. Bring your dancing shoes for this event! We will be performing all original arrangements of many classic big band tunes such as Early Autumn, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Shiny Stockings and many others. We'll also be presenting unique adaptations of many straight ahead jazz tunes.
